WAG arranged for approx. 10 pallets of pet food to be delivered to FISH outreach ministry in Monroe, the first step in our efforts to help more pet owners through the pet food pantry at FISH.
Thanks to Tanya and Joe from Pound Puppies 'n Kittens for driving the rental truck to Petsmart distribution center in Newnan, tossing bags around and bringing lots of food to us Those PPK people really know how to wrangle a pallet-jack!
Pound Puppies is fortunate to be included in the PetSmart Ongoing Food Donation program - a closed program not accepting new applicants. So although WAG is unable to apply for the program, PPK generously shared their donated food with us. A great example of local organizations working together to help animals.
And as always, our thanks to the dedicated volunteers at FISH for all their efforts!
